Now THIS is going to be cool.
We founded TrueMajority and TrueMajorityAction to offer an easy way for all those people out there who want America to be more just and compassionate to speak out. It really caught on, and turned into one of the largest online groups in America. But now, it’s time to take it to the next level.
As of this month, TrueMajorityAction is merging our operations with USAction, one of the pre-eminent field organizing progressive groups in America.
You already know USAction’s work, even if you don’t know their name. TrueMajorityAction members have turned out this year for town hall meetings and rallies put together by one of USAction’s dozens of state-based organizing teams. Before that, USAction were leaders of the “Save Social Security” campaign which TrueMajorityAction joined so vigorously. We’ve been working together behind the scenes for a long time; it’s worked so well, we decided to just go ahead and move in together.
TrueMajorityAction will continue to watch Congress for our members, and create quick “one-click” opportunities to speak up at critical moments. That’s worked great, our members say they love it, and we’ll work at online organizing as hard as ever. But now, as the online arm of USAction, they’ll also be able to offer ways for those online members to connect with neighbors who share their vision for America and carry that work into the “real world.”
It’s more of what we’ve always been doing: serving our members, finding ways for them to easily and quickly act on their best impulses, and take America in the right direction. And we’ll continue to be called “TrueMajorityAction” (or “TrueMajority”, depending on which list you signed up to) so don’t change those spam filters!
Tell me what you think! I’ll read all the comments, I promise.

Great idea! As a long-time member, supporter and activist with the Connecticut Citizen Action Group I am quite familiar with the numerous successful campaigns that CCAG has waged in Connecticut…Linking up with TrueMajorityAction can only enhance these efforts..

An awesome combination of online advocacy and field organizing!
Now, the question is — Will you prostitute this to the Democratic Party? Or will you use it solely and broadly to promote peace and other progressive values?
